Returns, Refunds and Cancellations Policy
Last updated: 12 October 2026
At Yardly Supply Co., we want you to be happy with your purchase. If something is not right, we aim to make the returns and refund process straightforward, fair and transparent.
This policy applies to purchases made through our online store by customers in the United Kingdom. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.
1. Your right to cancel an online order
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you generally have the right to cancel an online purchase within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.
Where an order contains multiple items delivered separately, the cancellation period normally runs from the day you receive the last item.
To exercise your cancellation right, you must tell us clearly that you wish to cancel within the applicable 14-day period. You may contact us using the details at the end of this policy.
After notifying us, you generally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
2. Conditions for change-of-mind returns
You may inspect goods to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, as you would in a shop.
Please take reasonable care of any goods you intend to return. If goods have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary and their value has diminished as a result, we may be entitled to deduct that loss in value from your refund, where permitted by law.
Where possible, return items with their original packaging, accessories, instructions and any included components. However, the absence of original packaging will not automatically remove your statutory cancellation rights.
Please contact us before sending a return so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions.
3. Items that may be excluded from change-of-mind cancellation
Certain products may be exempt from the statutory cancellation right where a legal exception applies. These can include:
- Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.
- Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, where the seal has been broken after delivery.
- Other goods where a specific statutory exception applies.
These exceptions will be applied only where legally justified. They do not remove your rights in relation to faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods.
4. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
We take product quality seriously. If your order arrives damaged, defective, incomplete or different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Please provide your order number, a description of the problem and, where helpful, photographs of the goods or packaging.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must generally be of satisfactory quality, fit for their intended purpose and as described.
Where goods are faulty or otherwise fail to meet the applicable legal requirements, you may be entitled to:
- A repair or replacement.
- A refund under the applicable statutory rules.
- The short-term right to reject goods and receive a refund, generally within 30 days of delivery, where the statutory conditions are met.
The remedy available will depend on the circumstances and the applicable law. We will not ask you to give up your legal rights as a condition of receiving assistance.
If goods are faulty, we will explain the appropriate return or collection arrangements. You will not be required to pay return costs where the law requires us to cover them.
5. How to request a return
To request a return or cancellation:
1. Contact us at Yardlysupplyco@gmail.com.
2. Include your order number and explain whether you are cancelling, returning a faulty item or reporting a delivery problem.
3. Wait for our return instructions before dispatching the goods, where applicable.
4. Package the goods securely and follow the instructions provided.
For change-of-mind returns, you are generally responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless we have agreed otherwise or failed to inform you of this responsibility as required by law.
For faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods, we will arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with your legal rights.
Please keep proof of postage or collection until your return has been resolved.
6. Refunds and refund timescales
For a valid statutory cancellation of goods, we will refund the payments covered by the cancellation, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option where required by law.
If you selected a more expensive delivery service, we are not required to refund the additional cost above our standard delivery option.
We will issue a statutory cancellation refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the applicable legal deadline. For goods that we have not offered to collect, this will generally be 14 days after we receive the returned goods or receive evidence that you sent them back, whichever happens first.
Where we have agreed to collect the goods, different timing rules apply.
Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. We will not charge a fee for processing a statutory refund.
For refunds arising from faulty goods or other legal remedies, we will follow the applicable statutory requirements.
Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to display the refunded amount.
7. Exchanges and replacements
If you would prefer an exchange or replacement, contact us and we will explain the available options.
A replacement or exchange does not remove any statutory rights you may have. Where a product is faulty, any repair or replacement will be handled in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
8. Missing or delayed orders
If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery period, please contact us with your order number.
If no delivery period was agreed, goods must generally be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days. Different arrangements may apply where a different delivery date has been agreed.
If delivery is late, your cancellation and refund rights will depend on the circumstances and the applicable law. We will work with you to resolve the issue fairly.

Where any part of this policy conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, the applicable law will take precedence.
